On February 28, 2024, Mercedes-Benz Japan announced the launch of a limited edition of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, named “Mercedes-AMG G63 Grand Edition.” This special edition, limited to only 235 units, was unveiled at the H2 & FC EXPO, marking its global debut. Scheduled for release in Japan and North America in the summer of the same year, its price will be announced later. This model features a fuel cell system co-developed with General Motors (GM), boasting a range of over 600 kilometers on a full tank of hydrogen.
